Any project like this couldn’t possibly work without the generous support of partner organisations. Funders, local organisations and people lending a shoulder to the wheel all make such a difference and encourage the project to develop and improve.
Our current three works will be funded by the United Kingdom Shared Prosperity Fund through Worcester City Council.
Jigsaw Community Festivals has received financial support for The Worcester Plinth from The Elmley Foundation which has been fundamental to our first series of installations.
We’d also like to thank Canal & River Trust for supporting our installation in May 2022 to celebrate the completion of the Unlocking the Severn Project and the arrival of the shad.
We are members of the Worcester Arts Council and have received financial support from WAC. We hope to develop links with a range of educational and artistic organisations across the County in the near future.
A number of lovely companies and individuals have already stepped in to help us get The Worcester Plinth off the ground including SB Print (print services), Thomas & Co (electrical services), Wyvern Sheet Metal (metal fabrications).
