The Worcester Plinth is ON THE MOVE! ‘The Gulls’ by Sarah Dukes has visited six locations around the city moving every 28 days. The destinations are always a secret until it ‘pops up’. The Worcester Plinth is now in storage as we prepare the next artwork, and we’ll be back in October……… but where?
If you would like to offer or create art for The Worcester Plinth in the future click HERE for the artist call out information.
If you would like to be part of the team – help us with installations, marketing and funding or anything else you can help with then we’d love to hear from you.

The new moving Worcester Plinth is, we believe, the only portable public art display unit in the UK. Based on a 10ft shipping container it has solar panels and a battery system to enable us to locate it anywhere in the City and still illuminate it at night. Previously, for two and a half years The Worcester Plinth has been static on the roof of The Screen House, a derelict building on the riverside on Hylton Road.
A series of artworks (nine so far) have been commissioned by and displayed on The Worcester Plinth, created by national and local artists to showcase wonderful creativity.
We thank our primary funders The Elmley Foundation, the UK Shared Prosperity Fund through Worcester City Council. We also thank Jigsaw Community Festivals and Worcester Arts Council.
